Five questions before you start using AI
- Which personal data will the AI work with?
- Where is it processed and stored?
- Which sub-processors are involved?
- Is the data used to train models?
- How do you delete data again?
How QWorker answers
- Processing and storage: with EU only, the chat models run in the EU, and the database is in the EU (Ireland).
- Sub-processors: listed by name and purpose in the privacy policy.
- Training: the chat models run on Microsoft Azure, which according to its terms does not train models on your prompts. QWorker does not train models on your data either.
- Deletion: content is deleted when you delete it or close your account. Accounting records are kept for 5 years.
- Rights: you can request access, correction, deletion and a copy of your data. Email hello@qworker.ai.
What you still need to do yourselves
No tool can make you GDPR compliant on its own. You still need to decide what AI may be used for, inform your staff and assess whether you have a lawful basis for the processing.
Write a short AI policy and go through it with everyone who uses the tool.
Also update your own privacy policy if you use AI on client or employee data. Briefly describe what AI is used for and which providers are involved.
